Management
Rakesh Antala As CEO, Rakesh leads Crederity's global launch activities including building a strong team consisting of world-class experts. Having led global projects, he brings a decade of technology product development, operations and leadership experience. Rakesh has worked with the Alcatel Lucent (formerly Lucent) Wireless R&D Division where he led strategic enterprise IT projects. For his work, Rakesh won the Bell Labs team awards for "Innovation and Technology" and "Tools and Best Practices". Rakesh has broad experience working in the entrepreneurial environment, having previously developed products from concept to market. Most recently, he was Partner & COO of Intivia, a healthcare services startup serving organizations across the United States. He has also played advisory roles in other technology startups, and is a partner at Aashirwad Care, a unique ethnic service provider to Nursing Homes. Rakesh holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a M.S. in Information Systems and has deferred a May 2007 conferment of an Executive Masters in Technology Management degree from the Wharton School of Business and the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Pennsylvania for the rollout of Crederity. At Penn he was a board member of the Executive Education Society, where he organized entrepreneurship-related activities and events. Rakesh is an active member of the Wharton Club of New Jersey's Entrepreneurs Circle and Society of Human Resource Management. He is a Charter Member of TiE Tri-State. return to top
Alex Mittal As CTO, Alex brings a range of experience to Crederity as a manager, technologist, and engineer. His accomplishments in software include managing internal projects for institutional clients such as the University of Pennsylvania as well as for individuals including the CEO of a Business 2.0 Fastest Growing Tech Company; Alex has also managed the development of social media and networking web services. As Founding Treasurer of Penn Engineers without Borders in 2004 and President in 2005-2007, Alex helped convert a group of seven individuals into a full-fledged organization with operations in Philadelphia, Honduras, and Cameroon, serving an estimated 15,000 beneficiaries and interfacing with numerous companies, organizations, and governments. Alex's expertise also extends to the revolutionary enabling technology known as nanotechnology. He was a research associate from 2001-2003 at New York University under Ned Seeman, conducting DNA nanotechnology research. Building on previous finance experience at Smith Barney combined with his tech background, he recently served as a nanotechnology analyst for the Livingston Group of Axiom Capital Management, and was Co-Founder and Co-President of the Penn Nanotech Society. Alex was a Joseph Wharton Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a B.S. in Economics and a B.S. in Engineering from the Wharton School of Business and the School of Engineering and Applied Science as part of the M&T Program in 2007. Alex's thesis work on a nanotechnology-based antimicrobial coating for plastics recently earned him highest honors from the faculty of Penn. Alex has authored numerous publications and has received nationwide media attention for his accomplishments, in particular his technology research—he is a recipient of the Intel Young Scientist Award and the Intel Science Talent Search and Siemens Westinghouse prizes—and he and his work have been featured or mentioned in USA Today, NBC News, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and The Philadelphia Inquirer, amongst others. return to top
Kevin Koski
As Director, Kevin is leading Crederity's North America, business development efforts. Kevin brings over nine years of experience in customer, and strategic, partner development. His experience coupled with his astute market analysis will aid Crederity's efforts to improve existing credential verification services and establish new markets for Crederity's services. Kevin has a professional background in technology sales and marketing for telecommunications equipment manufacturers providing global, network infrastructure solutions. Most recently, Kevin has co-established a private consulting group, K&S Consulting, with a focus on new venture initiation and product development. Kevin is an active consultant with several new ventures focusing on consumer medical devices, private healthcare services, apparel manufacturing, and specialty sporting goods. Kevin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from Lafayette College and Masters of Science in Technology Management from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Engineering & Applied Sciences and the Wharton Business School. return to top
Group Captain Dilip Vyas As India Head, Dilip provides regional direction and leadership, which are closely aligned with Crederity's corporate and country business objectives. Dilip comes with a rich experience of 30 years of loyal, distinguished service in the Indian Air Force. Most recently he was Chief Administrative Officer at flying base, where he planned and supervised major projects and infrastructural development worth 1000 Crores including building, roads, and runways. He was financial and administrative controller of 2 operational Air Commands covering more than 2000 personnel responsible for finance, operations, event coordination, security and intelligence. Dilip was commended twice by Chief of Air Staff for outstanding performance. He was part of the Indian Peace keeping Force in Sri Lanka. He is an effective administrator and task oriented disciplined military officer who lead a team from front setting high standards and by example. Dilip holds M.Com in Management from M S University, Baroda. He recently completed his Residential Certificate Course in Business Administration from IIM-Ahmedabad. return to top
Paras Mehta As GM, Paras leads Crederity India's launch activities. He brings with him over six years of rich corporate experience. He started his career as production engineer for TATA Constructions Equipments Ltd (Telcon). He was the best graduate engineer trainee for that year at Telcon. He led supply chain & commercial teams at Marico's green field operations as Commercial Manager. He was pivotal in institutionalizing commercial and process controls, production & supply chain management and managed $90 million of materials and funds per year. He also had the opportunity to do consulting work with some of the world's best companies including Dell, Samsung & ITC Ltd. For his work with Dell, he was awarded a Customer Appreciation award. Paras holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a M.B.A. in Finance & Operations from the School of Management at IIT Mumbai. He was a scholar student. He had the accreditation of being first placement on campus. His major achievement was to conceptualize and bring to life the Annual Business Festival at IIT Mumbai, now known as "Avenues", a joint venture of the IIT Mumbai Entrepreneurship Cell and the School of Management. Kenny Eapen As General Manager Sales at Crederity, Kenny is responsible for providing strategic direction to ensure that the company's business model attains scalability which will help in expanding to new geographic territories. In addition his responsibilities include sales, business development, and managing / growing relationships with customers. He also has the overall responsibility of end to end service delivery and client relationships. Kenny has service industry experience of over 14 years having worked for TNT India & Standard Chartered Bank. He was a Business Manager in the Mortgage Banking Business. He has worked in roles spanning sales and product management. His experience includes managing sales, product profitability, new customer acquisition and growth, strategy formulation, planning and executing on new initiatives for growth, and spearheading service endeavors for customers. Kenny holds a graduate degree in Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. return to top
Daniel Das As Sales Manager, Daniel brings with him over four years of sales experience starting with B2C sales for Hewlett Packard, then moving onto key account sales at Microsoft India for Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. He also has business solution sales experience in the CRM space for Oracle for accounts within the revenue band of $100-$500 million. Daniel started his first business venture, which provides tutoring services, in Orissa while in the 11th grade. The initial investment was less than Rs.100, but Daniel grew it into an annual business of over Rs. 3 lakhs in two years, after which it was acquired by another tutoring business center when Daniel moved out of town. As CEO of PowerDaniel, Daniel oversees intelligent power meter and monitoring services and products, and has filed for two patents in the power distribution, real-time theft detection, and prevention and real time demand control space. He was invited to present his solutions at the quarterly meeting of the State Electricity Board Chairmen and Chief Engineers at the Ministry of Power. Daniel is also a director in E-Infosystems, where he is partnered with a South African company to develop a billing solution for a major Telecom Carrier in SA. Jonathan E. Perelman, CPA, PFS Jonathan Perelman is a partner at Friedman LLP and is partner-in-charge of the Physicians Healthcare Group for New Jersey. As an expert on matters concerning estate, tax, and financial planning, Jonathan is frequently quoted in media publications. He provides accounting and tax services to clients in retail, manufacturing, wholesale/distribution, and professional services, with a particular emphasis on medical, dental, and legal practices. Aside from representing high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and retirement plans, Jonathan advises companies receiving venture capital and private equity on tax and business planning and assists in structuring the sale and acquisition of closely held businesses. Jonathan holds series 6, 7, 63, and 65 licenses and is licensed in New Jersey for life insurance. Jonathan received a B.S. in Economics and Accounting from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, where he currently serves on the faculty, and an M.S. in Taxation from Seton Hall University.

Ronald Pierantozzi, Ph.D. Ron Pierantozzi is currently the CEO of PPT Research, a materials technology company. He recently retired from the management ranks of Air Products & Chemicals (APCI). Ron is also a partner in Cameron and Associates, a consulting firm focused on developing relationships with Fortune companies committed to corporate venturing through technology and innovation. Ron previously served as APCI's Director of Business Development. This involved a wide range of duties that included identifying and commercializing new technologies, forming and incubating new technology-based ventures, managing external partnerships and forming market alliances, and investing in both early and late stage companies working through high profile VCs. Ron continues to work closely with VCs in the advanced materials and machine-to-machine sectors, where he provides expertise in market strategy and business valuation. Ron previously served as Director of Technology with APCI for platforms in hydrogenation, amination, and nitration technologies. He also held various positions the Performance Ceramics & Process Systems Group, and was Director of the Adsorption Technology Center. Ron is an inventor/co-inventor holding 32 U.S. patents, and has authored over a dozen publications. Ron is a professor at Wharton, Babson and Lehigh University business schools, where he lectures on innovation and entrepreneurship. He is also a member of the faculty for the program on Corporate Entrepreneurial Leadership at the Danish Technical University, where he conducts a seminar on developing business plans for the global enterprise. Ron received his B.S. in Chemistry from Temple University and his Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from The Pennsylvania State University.

M.V. Ravikumar Ravi is President of R.K. Consultants, and also consults at NSRCEL, a learning center for entreprenuers intiated by the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-B), and at the Acharya Institute of Management & Science (AIMS) in Bangalore. With over three decades of experience in technology, Ravi served as founding director of U.V. Circuits Pvt. Ltd., a manufacturer of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and PCB manufacturing equipment from 1984-1993, and as founding director of Clixport India Pvt. Ltd., an export consortium for promoting electronic products of small and medium-sized enterprises. Ravi began his career as a design engineer with Indian Telephone Industries Ltd. from 1974-1984. Ravi holds a B.E. in Electronics & Communications, a PG Dip. in Industrial Management, and an MBA from Bangalore University, and is due to recieve a Ph.D. related to Entrepreneurship Development later this year.
