We believe that letting users verify their identity helps in increasing their credibility and trustworthiness in any transaction online or offline. Crederity Verified individuals make it easy for users to verify that they are who they say they are and that they’ve done what they say they’ve done. The ID Verify icon   on a Crederity Card shows that they have been ID Verified.

If you choose to get Crederity Verified, you will be asked to provide some information, which will be used in an effort to authenticate your Identity. We will not share your information with anyone and have strict privacy and security standards . Any information that you provide will be treated and stored securely throughout the process. After the verification process is complete, Crederity will not display or share any of the information with anyone. As a user, you will have complete control over the information that you display/ share through Crederity Cards. How does Crederity verify identity?

Our identity verification process uses advanced technology including the kind banks and credit card companies use to protect you from fraud. Crederity first ensures that the identity being provided by an individual exists and does not belong to a deceased or otherwise inappropriate person. Crederity then verifies that the identity belongs to the person providing it. This technology builds a web-administered quiz from information contained in billions of public records that only individuals can answer themselves. Responses to questions are analyzed and Crederity is able to determine to a high degree of certainty whether or not the individual is who he or she claims to be.

I've tried, and it does not work!

We currently only support the ID verification feature for the USA and India residents and only from a limited set of data providers. We are working to add additional data sources as well as verification methods. Please note that your verified status may not be reflected immediately on your Crederity Card, as this can take longer for fail-safe manual method. Please remember that ID verification does not constitute 100% identity authentication.

For a small fraction of users, our automated online verification process may not function as intended. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we can still help:

First, please verify that the information you entered is correct. Particularly if you have recently moved, please try providing your most recent previous address in the initial information form, instead of providing your current address. This works for about 3/4ths of the users who are initially unable to proceed.

Fail-safe Method: If the first step does not work, we will be able to proceed with manual identity verification. Please send this completed form and the notarized photocopy of your state driver’s license or US passport to the following address by U.S. Mail:
